Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders, providing excellent guest service, and supporting the overall dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the food service industry, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and hospitality excellence. Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Duties
- Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
- Assist servers with food presentation and table setup as needed
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate service flow
- Handle guest requests courteously and professionally
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist with cleaning duties including clearing tables and resetting dining areas
Experience
Candidates with prior experience in food service or restaurant environments are highly encouraged to apply. Relevant skills include serving, cashiering, POS systems such as Micros POS, and general hospitality experience such as hotel or barista roles. Strong communication skills, knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a team are important. Experience with guest services, cleaning, and food handling will be considered advantageous. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles will help ensure success in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
