Job Title: Dishwasher
Department: Kitchen
Reports To: Kitchen Manager/Chef
Summary: The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as performing other related tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing:
- Load, operate, and unload dishwashing machines efficiently.
- Scrape, sort, and wash dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Kitchen Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Sweep and mop floors as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment, such as ovens, grills, and refrigerators.
- Follows all systems and checklists provided for their department
- Other Duties:
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas.
- Restock supplies in the kitchen as needed.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Pay: $16.75-$17.25 per hour
