Jessco Metal Works Inc. has been providing welding and custom fabrication services since 1991. We work with a wide variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, checker plate, expanded metal, tubing, bar, pipe, and more.
We are currently seeking an experienced Millwright / Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing shop equipment, assisting with equipment operation when required, and performing manual machining to support production in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Operate fabrication equipment as required to support production.
- Perform manual machining using conventional machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, drill press, etc.).
- Inspect machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues.
- Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Millwright, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Experience maintaining manufacturing or fabrication equipment.
- Experience operating shop equipment.
- Manual machining experience is required.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Compensation & Benefits
- $27.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience)
