Overview:
Jutzi Water Technologies is a growing family business serving Ontario for over 70 years. Our clients entrust us to take care of their water. Based in Stratford we provide essential Water Treatment Chemicals and Services throughout Ontario. Currently we are looking for a full-time Seasonal DZ Driver.
The successful candidate will:
- Operate assigned vehicle safely, obeying all rules of the road
- Ensure products are loaded and delivered in a safe, efficient manner.
- Ensure product transfers, including pump-offs are done accurately and safely using required PPE ·
- Ensure vehicle and equipment are inspected, maintained, and cleaned daily.
- Complete all logs and paperwork accurately with required details.
- Understand the Highway Traffic Act, TDG, and WHMIS, complying with all Federal and Provincial Regulations.
- Communicate regularly with customers developing a relationship, noting special requirements.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience.
- Clean Drivers Abstract.
- Safety conscious.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily route.
- Travel to Toronto required.
- Ability to make overnight trips – possibly 2 trips per month.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work overtime as required.
- Works well independently and as part of the team.
- Reliable with excellent attendance record.
- Experience handling Hazardous goods an asset.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate rate range $25 to $35 per hour
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
