Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including setting up and breaking down stations
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations
- Assist in opening or closing duties as assigned, including restocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry roles preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change accurately
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or bartending roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Must be 18 years or older and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
