The South Okanagan Similkameen Division of Family Practice Society (SOS Division) is a non-profit organization that supports primary health care in our region. We are looking for an Operations and Network Coordinator to join our growing organization. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate organizational events, meetings, workshops, and related logistics
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for staff, physicians, and participants
- Support organizational operations by maintaining administrative systems, records, and documentation while contributing to process improvements
- Provide organizational coordination through the maintenance of workplans, tracking of deliverables, and monitoring of action items to support timely follow-up
- Support Network activities by coordinating schedules, meetings, and related initiatives
- Administer meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and minute-taking
- Collaborate across the organization by providing operational support, cross-coverage, and assistance with organizational priorities and special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience coordinating meetings, committees, and events
- Previous experience in an administrative coordination support role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
