We're looking for someone to join our team as a UI/UX Designer and play a pivotal role in crafting user-centric experiences that captivate new and existing customers. As a vital member of our design team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact across our products, including a rebuild of our public-facing website to sharpen Workhub's online presence and drive growth. You'll work closely with our internal teams to improve the tools and workflows that help us offer better experiences to customers, faster. Things You Might Do
Workhub is in a big growth phase, so you'll likely get your hands dirty in a little bit of everything. That said, here are some things you'll focus on:
- Craft the redesign of workhub.com, defining information architecture, crafting wireframes and prototypes, and seeing it through to launch and beyond
- Partner with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand needs, cultivate buy-in for your ideas, and ensure designs translate into experiences that work for both customers and the teams serving them
- Conduct user research, build personas, and run usability testing to ground decisions in real customer behavior, both for the website and our core product
- Find creative solutions to UX problems across the full customer journey, from first landing on our site to deep within the product experience
- Stay sharp on competitor products and industry trends, bringing forward ideas that keep Workhub's design ahead of the curve
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio of design projects (we want to know how and why, not just what!)
- Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma)
- Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and website navigation
- Basic understanding of SEO and how design/content structure affects discoverability
- Familiarity with next generation AI tools and an enthusiasm for applying them to research and ideation
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus
- Attention to detail - every pixel counts
- Excellent communication skills
