Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong accuracy, shipping experience, and excellent teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure accurate and timely order dispatch
- Prepare and process shipping labels using FedEx, Purolator, Canpar, UPS, eShipper, and U.S. shipping systems
- Schedule carriers for pickups and deliveries
- Arrange and prepare skid shipments
- Package products carefully and verify all items before shipment to ensure order accuracy
- Confirm shipments match packing slips and customer orders
- Handle customer pickups and ensure products released match packing slips
- Manage and track back orders accurately
- Prepare and organize deliveries for the company truck
- Assist with order picking, packing, labeling, loading, and unloading
- Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records
- Assist with inventory counts as required
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
- Follow all warehouse and safety procedures
- Perform general warehouse and shipping duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous shipping and warehouse experience required
- Experience with FedEx, UPS, Purolator, Canpar, eShipper, and U.S. shipments
- Experience preparing skid shipments
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for weights, quantities, and shipment verification
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs regularly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
