A well-established and growing industrial manufacturing company in the lower mainland is seeking an experienced Red Seal Fabricator Foreman to join its team. This role is suited for an experienced fabrication leader with a strong background in both sheet metal fabrication and structural steel fabrication within an industrial manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support fabrication shop employees throughout daily production activities
- Coordinate fabrication priorities and workflow to support production schedules
- Review and interpret fabrication drawings, shop packages, and production requirements
- Oversee fabrication activities related to sheet metal and structural steel assemblies
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
- Support and assist with fitting, forming, welding, grinding, and assembly activities as required
- Monitor workmanship and assist in maintaining production efficiency within the shop
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to fabrication staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Communicate effectively with production management and other departments as needed
What You Bring
- Red Seal certification in Metal Fabrication or related trade
- Strong hands-on fabrication experience involving sheet metal and structural steel
- Previous supervisory, foreman, or lead hand experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and shop documentation
- Experience operating standard fabrication equipment and tools
- Strong understanding of shop fabrication processes and workflow coordination
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Forklift and overhead crane experience considered an asset
Pay: $45.00-$56.00 per hour
