We are seeking a young friendly and dynamic Part time Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team for our third and existing locations. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and promoting products effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are considered valuable assets. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills and gain experience in a fast-paced retail environment. also preferably someone who vapes or has a good knowledge with nicotine vaporizer products and accessories.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales processing
- Conduct product demos and provide information on merchandise to enhance customer engagement
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising displays to ensure attractive presentation of products
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure the checkout area remains organized and clean throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform product demonstrations and explain features clearly
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Prior experience in technology sales or merchandising is advantageous but not required

Pay: $17.60 per hour
