Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in developing their language skills and academic success. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching or tutoring, with proficiency in multiple languages including Mandarin, French, Spanish, and Japanese. This role involves working closely with children and students of various ages, providing personalized instruction to foster confidence and mastery in their subjects. The Tutor will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, Japanese, and English.
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with students’ learning goals and curriculum standards.
- Assist students with writing skills, reading comprehension, and classroom assignments.
- Foster a positive learning environment by engaging students through interactive activities and encouraging participation.
- Track and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents as appropriate.
- Work with children and young learners to build confidence and motivation in their academic pursuits.
- Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, French, Spanish, Japanese, or English.
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Classroom experience or previous tutoring experience is a plus.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
