Imprints Pediatric Therapy is a growing pediatric private practice providing speech, language, and developmental support services across the Greater Toronto Area. We deliver care in homes, schools, daycare centres, and clinic environments, with a strong focus on family-centred, play-based, and evidence-informed intervention.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) to join our team as an independent contractor.
This role is best suited for a clinician who is confident working independently in community-based settings and enjoys delivering engaging, functional therapy to children with diverse communication needs under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
You will play a key role in implementing therapy programs, supporting families, and contributing to meaningful progress for children across a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized speech and language therapy plans developed by a supervising SLP
- Provide 1:1 intervention in home, school, daycare, and clinic environments
- Collect accurate data and maintain clear session documentation
- Support caregiver coaching and carryover of therapy strategies
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP regarding client progress and clinical observations
- Adapt materials and activities to meet individual client needs
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and high clinical standards in all settings
Requirements
- CDA diploma or Communicative Disorders Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years experience working with pediatric populations (preferred)
- Strong ability to work independently in community-based settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for daily use (required)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada (required)
- Experience with a range of pediatric needs (speech delay, language disorders, ASD, developmental delays)
