Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL for a 4 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL - Job Description:
This role involves supporting targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives within Canadian Banking. The Data Analyst will work on pre-sizing, segmentation, and post-campaign analysis, focusing on evaluating performance metrics like new accounts and transaction volume. Additionally, the role includes participation in modernization initiatives, such as migration to GCP and Python-based analytics.
Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL - Responsibilities:
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations on marketing initiatives to business line and marketing partners.
- Analyze and synthesize large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Define and size target audience opportunities in collaboration with business and marketing teams.
- Deliver Pre-Sizing, Segmentation, and Response Forecasting to inform campaign design.
- Optimize customer and channel allocation based on behavior and historical performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and create reporting to track campaign performance.
- Conduct Pre- and Post-Campaign Deep Dives to assess utilization and revenue impact.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Work in agile squads to identify new opportunities for improved customer experiences.
- Perform SQL coding and data manipulation as needed.
- Support automation and dashboard development using Power BI and Excel.
Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL - Mandatory Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analysis with strong ability to create and present reports.
- 8+ years’ experience working with large data sets and relational databases with advanced SQL skills.
- 5+ years’ experience with Power BI.
- 2+ years of recent experience with Python.
Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with banking products.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with targeted leads/campaign execution and segmentation.
Data Analyst - Python, Power BI, GCP and SQL – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is from ASAP to October 31, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
