Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for mechanics with hydraulic experience or familiarity with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery to apply their expertise in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during maintenance procedures
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs
- Assist in the installation of new machinery or components as required
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other industrial equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge including automotive repair, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools in a maintenance setting
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and heavy equipment operation required for efficient repairs
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate technical information to team members
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks as well as complex repairs on diverse machinery types
This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring the longevity and safety of critical industrial equipment. Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude combined with practical experience working on heavy machinery in shop or industrial environments.
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
