Rodd Royalty Hotel is looking for a motivated and reliable Line Cook to join our Culinary team on the Part-time basis. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering great food, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
This role will primarily focus on supporting banquet operations and services in our Wally's Restaurant & Lounge. Flexibility is key, as you may be scheduled for lunch, dinner, or other shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support the execution of banquet operations efficiently and consistently
- Assist with prep and service for lunch, dinner, and events as required
- Ensure all dishes meet quality, portion, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Assist with culinary auditing, temperature checking of food items within the kitchen, stations, fridges and freezers
- Adherence to Rodd's policies and procedures, including Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of line cook experience preferred
- Proficiency in fundamental cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to independently manage a single kitchen station
- Strong customer-service mindset with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
