As an Early Childhood Educator at Little Hummingbirds, you will:
- Plan and deliver inspiring, child-led activities based on Montessori and FLIGHT principles
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where each child is seen, heard, and supported
- Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families and collaborate with your team
- Participate in reflective practice, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Support children's physical, social, and emotional development through intentional routines and meaningful engagement
- Safely transport Out of School Care (OSC) children to and from nearby schools (as needed)
- Take on other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification
- Valid Standard First Aid with Infant/Child CPR
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Previous experience in licensed child care is an asset
- Familiarity with Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations; experience with Montessori and/or FLIGHT is a strong asset
- Reliable, creative, and committed to ongoing learning and growth
- Bonus: Valid Class 4 Driver’s License (required for OSC transportation)
