We are looking to add a Marine Technician/Rigger to our Lions Bay team. The Marine Technician/Rigger is honest and team oriented. While no experience is required to apply preference will be given to individuals who have experience in the Marine industry.
Job Requirements
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repair and computer diagnostics to outboard and stern drive engines.
- Ability to diagnose, repair and install marine mechanical systems (water systems, hydraulic steering systems, black water systems, heat systems etc.)
- Installation of Outboard motors and related control systems
- Installation, diagnostics and repair of 12V DC marine systems and accessories
- Installation of Marine electronics including radar, VHF Radio and GPS.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that supports repeat business and continued satisfaction of Port Boat House’s clients.
- Perform accurate labour estimates for repairs required
- Keep detailed records of work completed
- Ensure a high standard of work is completed efficiently
Qualifications
- Preference will be given to applicants with Marine or RV experience
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in and establish priorities in a busy environment
- A positive attitude and helping mindset
- An eye for detail

· Above industry standard pay – based on experience and skillset
