Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive and store merchandise by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- Pick and process orders
- Label products and boxes for shipping
- Weigh materials and goods
- Box, wrap and package goods for delivery
- Count inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for the safety of the organization
- Work in all areas of the warehouse
Qualifications and Skills
- Lift truck certification an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in warehousing and deliveries a plus
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and be crossed trained on multiple systems
- Flexible schedule (May be asked to work various Saturdays)
- Experience with SPS Commerce
- Wrapping skids
- Tracking shipments
- Organized and efficient
- Order entry
- Proficient computer skills related to data entry
- Proficient in Excel an asset
Physical Requirements:
- Will include lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of time standing, bending and lifting.
Benefits
- Starting wage $20.00/hr with a review after 90 days. Benefits applied after 3 months of service; employee profit sharing and RRSP matching equal to 2% of your earnings after 1 year of service
