JOB TITLE: Technologist- On call
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
Bodycomp Imaging is a company on a mission - to help people live longer. We do this by investing in technologies and companies in the longevity space, bringing them into our operations and enabling access to consumer health data produced by those companies.
SUMMARY
The Technologist uses DXA technology for the purposes of conducting body composition and bone density scans for our diverse clientele seeking athletic, performance and weight management, functional aging, rehabilitation and to assist research contracts and community partners. Using the latest medical imaging equipment, this role provides superior health consulting and patient care while adopting radiation safety and best practices. Technologists ensure the smooth-running of the technical and client experience through creating a welcoming environment in our centers, the scan and consultation, and reviewing the scans personalized results to support our clients individual goals.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Medical imaging/scanning:
- Client care through procedure explanations, positioning and scanning
- Scanner quality control checks and maintenance reporting to support team to ensure the equipment is in good working order
- Data processing and interpretation through reporting and results summary
- Health consultation for interpreting the data to ensure that our clients understand the detail
- Supporting clients with comprehending the information in support of their individual goals
- Business development:
- Client care and follow-up
- Contacting clients and potential partners
- Ambassador within the community and neighbourhood in support of increased brand awareness, contacting related businesses for collaboration
- Location administration and operations:
- Booking appointments, receiving payments and client billing
- Location supply management
- Other duties as assigned by leaders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or certificate in related field (ex. Kinesiology, Nuclear Medicine, Nutritionist, etc.) or equivalent experience; CAMRT Certification, prefered
- 2+ years related experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience providing superior patient care in a clinical environment, ideal
- Strong problem solver and critical thinker with an ability to analyze and interpret data
- Outstanding attention to detail, personal initiative and demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize
- Excellent team player and confident independent contributor
- Adept at juggling multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Skilled at working with MS Office, Google G suite
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
