Good Comfort is seeking compassionate, experienced FEMALE Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for Summer Live-In and Live-Out Care Positions in Muskoka.
Join a team that is bringing care back to care while spending the summer in one of Ontario’s most beautiful regions. We are looking for dedicated caregivers to support clients requiring dementia and complex care support through both daytime and overnight shifts.
Position: Summer Live-In and Live-Out PSWs (FEMALE only)
Location: Muskoka, Ontario
Schedule: Days, nights, and rotating support
Duration: Summer positions with potential for ongoing opportunities
What You'll Do:
- Provide compassionate personal care and daily living support
- Support clients living with dementia and memory-related conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
- Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
- Monitor safety and well-being throughout day and overnight shifts
- Maintain clear communication with families and the Good Comfort Care Team
Qualifications:
- PSW Certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting clients with dementia and memory care needs
- Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) is preferred
- Strong understanding of dementia-responsive care techniques
- Comfortable providing both daytime and overnight care support
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Previous live-in care experience considered an asset
