Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, provides support for administrative and student affairs activities. Participates in ensuring the smooth functioning of the unit’s operations. Responsible for documents and files of unit. Acts as resource person for policies and procedures. Advises students and resolves problems in relation to their files.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as a resource and contact person for the Clinical placements in both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

Follows up on problems in relation with the student’s files.

Records expenses and provides account statements on request, i.e. for special events like the Spring clinical.

Ensures regulations and deadlines are respected.

Facilitates communication between the Clinical community and Clinical Education Faculty

Coordinates meetings with the Clinical Community/Teaching partners, take minutes, distribute final copy, follow-up on action items

Maintains Clinical Education website, revising text and information in both French and English

Facilitates communication between the Clinical community and Clinical Education Faculty

Enter data for clinical course teaching offers and coordinates of placement cycle (electronic sending of course confirmations, site payment letters, thank you certificates)

Prepares statistics reports and maintains the Clinical Education Portal database of over 2000 clinicians

Acts as main contact for Clinicians regarding all non-academic clinical course issues and portal queries

Lead coordination of site payments, tracking and follow-up, accounting administrative tasks, preparation of student expense reports
Responds to student inquiries and attends to emails/calls
