Looking for an experienced formwork carpenter and concrete finisher. Minimum 5+ years experience in concrete forming and finishing.
Bruin Contracting is a residential builder in the Sea to Sky servicing Whistler, Squamish, North Vancouver, and Gambier Island. Led by a 20+ year experienced Red Seal Carpenter, Steve Delane, the Bruin Contracting team is highly skilled and passionate about their commitment to producing high-quality, well-crafted projects to be proud of for years to come.
We are in search of a Journeyman/woman Carpenter to perform a range of duties. The right candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. We are interested in hiring individuals who are always on time and willing to learn and work with others as part of a team. The Carpenter will work directly with the Supervisor and become a part of the organization's long-term growth plan and success.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Build as per required plans
- Lead labourers and carpenter helpers
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Be able to work outside in inclement weather and perform strenuous physical labor
Requirements:
- Residential framing and formwork experience
- Red Seal is a plus.
Must have own transportation to work sites in Whistler.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
