VieCare Living is a growing home care company based in Coquitlam, BC, dedicated to supporting elderly clients and individuals with mobility challenges in living comfortably and independently at home. We are building a pool of compassionate on-call caregivers to support our clients as our business grows. This is a casual, as-needed role with no fixed weekly hours, ideal for someone looking for flexible work to complement their existing schedule. There is real opportunity for increased hours and a long-term role as we expand.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist individuals with mobility challenges with safe movement and daily tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
- Communicate any concerns about client wellbeing to the VieCare team
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Warm, patient, and reliable personality
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Must be bondable and consent to a background check
- PSW certification is an asset but not required
