Hope Christian Academy is looking for a committed Christian Physical Education Teacher to join our team this September, for the 2026/2027 school year! We welcome candidates who are faithful, skilled, and collaborative, with a strong focus on supporting students academically, socially and spiritually.
About the role:
- · Available position: Christian Teacher Physical Education K-6
- · School: Hope Christian Academy, 400 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg Manitoba, R3B 3A8
- · Key Focus: Supporting student learning through strong instruction, positive relationships, and Christian values.
Requirements:
- · Teaching certificate (valid for Manitoba)
- · Strong understanding of the Manitoba curriculum
- · Effective classroom skills and positive classroom management
- · Phys ed degree preferred but not mandatory. Experience in coaching or and scheduling games for basketball, badminton, volleyball.
- · Excellent collaboration with staff, students and parents
- · Experience supporting students with diverse language and learning backgrounds including EAL learners
- · Ability to work well in a team environment
