About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic Store Attendants to join the first Oakberry in Richmond, BC.
In this role, you’ll report to the Richmond leadership team and play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience in a dynamic, on-the-go environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly, positive attitude
- Prepare açaí bowls, smoothies, fruits, and toppings
- Follow operational procedures and food safety standards (temperature checks, product rotation, sanitation, etc.)
- Maintain a fast service time (2-minute turnaround goal)
- Handle customer questions and provide product recommendations
- Process orders and payments accurately
- Prepare and package mobile/online orders
- Keep the shop and surrounding service area clean, stocked, and organized
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, pricing, and nutritional information
Qualifications & Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a small-space setting
Preferred Skills
- Experience in customer service, food service, or retail (asset, not required)
- Familiarity with kitchen tools and food prep
- Experience with POS systems and/or mobile ordering platforms
- Proficiency in Chinese (asset, not required)
