Overview
Our client is seeking a Production Planner to join their team in Owen Sound, Ontario. This role is responsible for developing and managing production schedules, forecasts, and capacity plans that align with customer demand, inventory requirements, and operational objectives. Working closely with Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, the Production Planner will monitor performance, support process improvements, and ensure efficient schedule execution across the manufacturing operation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of production planning experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP systems; Syspro experience is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills with planning and scheduling software
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and action-oriented with strong accountability
- Experience with forecasting, capacity planning, and production scheduling
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
Pay: $62,000.00-$74,000.00 per year
