Are you an experienced outdoor adventure professional looking for a fun, fast-paced seasonal role? Richmond Night Market is hiring Zipline Staff for the 2026 season – running from April through September.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with previous zipline or high-adventure experience to take on a key role in delivering a safe and thrilling guest experience.
About Us:
Richmond Night Market is an annual night market event held during the summer months in Richmond, British Columbia, located near River Rock Casino and the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station.
What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking part-time team members who bring hands-on experience and professionalism to our Zipline operations. Candidates must be available for weekends and night shifts and should be confident in leading safety procedures and guest interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Zipline Staff will have duties (but not limited to) such as:
- Operate and manage zipline activities with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Perform equipment inspections, secure harnesses, and enforce all safety protocols
- Deliver professional, clear safety briefings and guest instructions
- Respond confidently and appropriately in emergency or high-pressure situations
- Lead or support other team members during peak hours and operational challenges
Qualifications:
- Experience in ziplining, high ropes, climbing walls, or related outdoor adventure environments
- Demonstrated ability in harnessing, gear inspection, and incident response
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and situational awareness
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to manage outdoor work and assist with course maintenance as needed.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
- Fluency in a second language is an asset
Compensation: Starting at $17.85 per hour, with potential increase based on experience
