Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that meet client needs
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalized service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Expertise in various hair styling techniques, coloring, and treatments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Ability to perform retail sales and upselling to maximize client satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Front desk experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with a passion for the beauty industry
