Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Camera Assistant/Light Man to support our production team. This role involves assisting with camera setup, lighting, and equipment management to ensure smooth filming operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of camera and lighting equipment, possess technical skills in working with electricity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film and video production within a dynamic creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and maintaining camera equipment, including lenses, tripods, and stabilizers
- Manage lighting setups to achieve desired visual effects under the direction of the director or cinematographer
- Ensure all camera gear is properly maintained, organized, and ready for shoots
- Support the team in adjusting lighting and camera angles during filming to capture optimal shots
- Operate or assist with operation of basic camera functions as needed
- Collaborate with the production crew to coordinate equipment needs and troubleshoot technical issues on set
- Maintain safety protocols during equipment handling and setup
Experience
- Prior experience working on film or video productions is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic understanding of lighting techniques and camera operation is desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
