Experienced/Beginner drywall helper who will be ensuring to help the installer crew. The right candidate should have a strong construction background and be comfortable dealing with a variety of different tasks.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading construction materials and moving them to work areas.
- Assisting tradespersons (e.g., drywall installers) with tasks.
- Erecting and dismantling forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- Removing rubble and cleaning debris at construction sites.
- Operating or tending basic machines and equipment as directed.
- Helping with demolition, excavation, and fine grading.
- Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Performing other labouring or helper tasks as directed by supervisors. Work environment & demands:
- Physically demanding (lifting, standing, bending).
- Outdoor work and exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and weather conditions.
- Requires teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and ability to follow instructions.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years deficiency experience in multi-residential construction.
- Must be able to commit to full time employment.
- Strong eye for detail, be able to multi-task and stay organized.
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to commute to and from job site.
