Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly and Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly of components and products with precision to ensure quality standards are met. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical, electrical, and automotive knowledge are an asset. The position requires hands-on experience with various tools and an understanding of component assembly processes or automotive service to contribute effectively to our production goals.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to schematics and work instructions
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Interpret assembly and installation instructions to ensure proper connections are completed
- Conduct quality checks using callipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy
- Follow safety protocols when working with electrical wiring and machinery
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards
- Travel to customer site for installation/maintenance of HYGN equipment
- Complete documentation of work performed
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
- Other duties assigned as required
Experience & Qualifications
- · High school diploma
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle, required
- Industry-related training or 2+ years prior experience
- Automotive/Diesel/Small Engines/Industrial Mechanic Licence or 2+ years prior experience
- Electrical Technician or 2+ years prior experience
- Proven experience in automotive/industrial service, manufacturing, or assembly environments
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with callipers and other precision measurement instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
