Total Systems Guyana Inc. (TSG) is seeking a suitably qualified Operator Assistant – Stim Jobs for a field-based assignment in Guyana. This is a fixed-term six-month contract role aligned to stimulation support operations in offshore and related rig-based environments. The role requires a disciplined field support operator capable of assisting with equipment preparation, installation support, chemicals handling, fluid systems, and general operational readiness in accordance with approved procedures and field requirements.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the operation of stimulation support equipment such as chemicals handling systems, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, and treating lines, while assisting with assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
This role requires proficiency in English, valid offshore survival certification, and practical field awareness of safety and environmental requirements. Offshore experience is stated as desired.
Services Required
- Support the operation of stimulation support equipment in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and job requirements.
- Assist with chemicals handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, treating lines, and related field support systems.
- Assist in equipment assembly, preparation, installation support, and general service readiness activities.
- Support rig up and rig down of stimulation support equipment and associated job-spread components.
- Maintain compliance with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations throughout the assignment.
- Maintain clear operational records and communicate equipment status, readiness, service issues, and field observations to the appropriate operational stakeholders.
Duties Include
- Operate stimulation support equipment safely and effectively in accordance with job requirements and site instructions.
- Assist with chemicals handling, fluid-tank support, suction-manifolding setup, and treating-line preparation as required for field execution.
- Support equipment assembly, preparation, and installation activities before and during service delivery.
- Perform rig up and rig down support activities for stimulation support equipment and associated materials at the worksite.
- Work closely with supervisory personnel and other crew members during field operations to support safe, efficient, and well-controlled execution.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment care, and operational discipline throughout the work period.
- Ensure compliance with internal SQ and HSE standards and contribute to days of service with no SQ-HSE issues.
- Support the identification, reporting, and resolution of equipment, process, or HSE concerns during the job.
- Enforce stop-work expectations, hazard awareness, fit-for-work requirements, and incident reporting obligations in accordance with company HSE expectations and site requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records, handover notes, service documentation, and job-related reports as required by the assignment.
Constraints and Special Considerations
- This is a six-month fixed-term contract aligned to the current manpower forecast for the role.
- The role supports offshore and related rig-based operations. Offshore experience is desired for this position.
- The assignment may involve rig-based work in offshore and onshore operating environments depending on project needs.
- Candidate must be able to mobilize to Guyana and work in a structured, safety-critical, client-facing oilfield environment.
- Candidate must be willing to work under rotational or operational schedules based on vessel, rig, and field requirements.
- Candidate must be comfortable working within a controlled workforce framework where technical approval, deployment suitability, and operational supervision remain with the end operator.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in the Operator Assistant – Stim Jobs role or in a closely comparable stimulation support position.
- Offshore experience is desired.
- Practical experience supporting chemicals handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, treating lines, equipment preparation, and installation support in field service environments.
- Valid OPITO HUET and CA-EBS certification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong communication, teamwork, operational discipline, and safety awareness in high-risk operating environments.
- Valid passport and ability to travel, mobilize offshore, and satisfy deployment readiness requirements for the duration of the contract.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
