Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
Skills
- Proficient in using POS systems, for efficient order processing.
- Previous restaurant experience is required, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, ensuring guests feel valued and attended to.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
