The Opportunity Real estate doesn’t clock out at 5:00 PM—and neither do we. Scout & Spruce is a high-octane administrative powerhouse processing over 100 active trades at any given time for more than 10 busy agents.
To keep our operations running seamlessly, we are looking for a highly accurate, on-call Contract Specialist to handle urgent evening and weekend paperwork. You will start out with a laser focus on drafting time-sensitive documents as they come in. For the right person who proves their speed and accuracy, this role will quickly expand to take on more comprehensive deal administration.
Phase 1: Your Immediate Focus When you start, your primary job is to be our after-hours paperwork sniper. You will be on-call during evenings and weekends to handle:
- On-Call Offer Drafting: Writing airtight Purchase Contracts on demand. When an agent needs to submit a competitive offer at 8:00 PM on a Saturday, you are the one preparing the paperwork quickly and accurately so they can win the deal.
- Waiver Execution: Handling the crucial "Condition Day" documents by rapidly preparing Notices of Waiver or Non-Waiver of conditions as soon as the agents give the green light.
- Amendments on the Fly: Quickly drafting amendments to standard AREA forms to handle price adjustments, extended condition dates, or negotiated repairs, ensuring no pre-printed clauses conflict with your custom terms.
Phase 2: Room to Grow We want to grow with you. As you master the initial flow of on-call contracts and build trust with the team, your role will expand. You will be given the opportunity to take on full deal processing, proactive condition tracking, agent support, and managing files within our brokerage back-office systems.
Who We Are Looking For
- Alberta Real Estate Experience: This is not an entry-level position. You must have a strong background handling Alberta real estate paperwork (specifically AREA standard forms).
- On-Call Availability: Your schedule will heavily feature evenings and weekends. You need to be ready to act the moment an agent calls with a live deal.
- Speed & Accuracy: You work lightning-fast without sacrificing your obsessive attention to detail. Errors are a personal challenge to you.
