North-Wright Airways is looking for a Customer Service Agent to support our operations in Colville Lake! This position provides prompt customer service for clients who are travelling throughout the Sahtu or who are sending or receiving cargo and mail.
Location: Colville Lake, NT
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of High School Diploma/GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications.
- Familiarity in the aviation industry or customer service is considered an asset.
- A valid full driver’s license is required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Duties:
- Manifesting passengers prior to boarding through the computer system.
- Shipping and receiving cargo, including on scheduled and charted flight services.
- Maintaining incoming and outgoing documents to meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Assisting the pilots in loading, unloading, sorting, and routing cargo and baggage while updating the computer tracking system as necessary.
- Processing payment transactions for any tickets or freight processed over the counter.
- Delivering and picking up mail or any other times that need transport in accordance with Canada Post contractual requirements and operational demands.
- Updating daily traffic/loads and ensuring all cargo or bookings are completed in a timely manner and prior to travel.
- Submitting an accurate daily sales report to the accounting department.
- Completing a comprehensive document check to ensure that passengers are manifested correctly, and freight (including excess baggage information) is correctly weighted, documented, and tagged.
- General administrative duties (i.e. answering phone call, email correspondence, filing, coordination between staff and clients, handling customer complaints and inquiries, etc.)
