Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician specializing in Solar Installation to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Duties
- Install solar panels, inverters, and related electrical components following project specifications and safety standards
- Perform wiring, grounding, and electrical connections for solar energy systems
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging tools to facilitate installation processes
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
- Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Assist with site preparation including trenching and excavation using heavy machinery like excavators and backhoes
- Perform welding and other mechanical tasks as needed for system integration
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site and perform repairs or adjustments as necessary
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Experience
- Proven electrical experience with a focus on solar or renewable energy systems preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as low voltage systems, bucket trucks, welding, rigging, and heavy machinery operation (e.g., backhoe, bucket operation)
- Experience operating excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy equipment required for site preparation and installation tasks
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, wiring techniques, and electrical safety standards
- Prior experience working in construction or outdoor environments involving excavation or heavy equipment is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to solar energy systems is a plus

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
