True Hospitality is a boutique restaurant brand house. We own and/or operate four independent restaurants and is the franchisee of Shark Club Winnipeg. The four independent restaurants include Cibo Waterfront Cafe, Junction 59 Roadhouse, the James Avenue Pumphouse, and Bistro 330 in La Salle. Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team in cooking and plating dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Handle dishwashing duties promptly to keep the kitchen running smoothly and uphold food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health codes
- Aid in menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming service periods as directed by chefs or kitchen managers
- Support catering events or special functions with meal prep and serving assistance as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in a Culinary role prefered , but not mandatory
- Strong food handling skills with knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Basic culinary experience including knife skills, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with restaurant or food industry environments enhances efficiency in fast-paced settings
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues
- Willingness to learn menu planning, food service procedures, and catering operations for career growth
