At The Speech Society, we provide personalized, client-centered therapy services for children, teens, adults, and seniors across the Greater Toronto Area through virtual and in-home care.
We are a growing multidisciplinary practice focused on flexibility, collaboration, and high-quality care. We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Physiotherapists to join our team as independent contractors.

Compensation
- Competitive per-session compensation
- $15 driving compensation for in-home sessions
- Late cancellations and no-shows compensated if payment is collected from the client
(Compensation discussed based on session length and experience.)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional ability.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery exercises, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide and maintain your own physiotherapy equipment, treatment tools, and materials necessary for virtual and in-home sessions.
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and industry best practices.
- Provide services virtually and/or in clients’ homes throughout the GTA
Qualifications
Required
- Registered and in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Professional liability insurance
- Must have a G/G2 license and access to a vehicle for in-home sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations
- Experience providing virtual therapy
- Prior experience working as an independent contractor or in a freelance capacity is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and medical terminology.
