Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support our construction company. We specialize in steel docks, crib docks, septic installations, general barging and more!
The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and gain valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Perform general manual tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning
- Support skilled tradespeople with their daily activities as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Assist with site preparation, demolition, or assembly tasks as directed
- Contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or manual labour is a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures is advantageous
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities
Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
