Reporting to the Vice-President, Transport, you will manage new business and renewals across Canada while contributing to the continued expansion of our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite, develop, and manage new business and renewals in line with program and contract guidelines
- Evaluate, accept, or decline risks within your underwriting authority
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers through exceptional service and regular outreach
- Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to drive results
- Represent REVAU at industry events and strengthen market presence
- Stay informed on market conditions, trends, and emerging risks in commercial insurance
- Ensure accurate and timely policy issuance and billing
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of insurance experience, preferably within the Transport sector
- Strong knowledge of policy wording and underwriting principles
- Analytical mindset with confident decision-making abilities
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Highly organized with a strong sense of accountability and priorities
- Insurance diploma (considered an asset)
- Experience with Guidewire (considered an asset)
