Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Worker to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various lawn and garden care activities. Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns using hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities to improve aesthetic appeal and health of plants
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as setting up features or installing landscape structures
- Maintain safety standards by properly handling tools and machinery during all tasks
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized after completing projects
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of construction principles related to landscape features is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation purposes
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks
