Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, efficiently handle food and beverage orders, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender.
- Ensure all food safety and food handling procedures are followed according to health regulations.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and closing out registers at shift end.
- Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Friendly demeanor with a professional attitude towards guest interactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; experience in hospitality or food industry is desirable but not required.
