Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Counter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent food service and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food handling knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
- Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or counter customers promptly
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed to support kitchen operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required

Pay: $17.55-$18.00 per hour
