CORE Modular Inc. is a Calgary based remote modular structure consturction company. Our project are located across the country. We are looking for skilled workers to drive our projects to the finish line with safety and precision in mind. Positions will require travel. Schedules are shift work 21 days on and 7 days off with 10 to 12hrs per day.
Duties:
- Complete material takeoff
- Majority of work done with lumex wire, BX, Tech Cable, and Cab tire.
- Perform meggering
- Install fire alarm systems. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications. Troubleshoot and isolate faults.
- Install, replace and repair electrical controls, panel boxes, HVAC units, and furnaces.
- Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits.
- Renovate electrical systems in modular structures.
- Installations electrical systems, fire alarm and heat trace for modular structures
- Test electrical systems
- Work independently and/or as part of a crew
- Completion of FLHA’s and JHA’s as per each job/task
- Clean and detail units
- Follow all safety procedures
- Use hand and power tools to build, assemble, and install structures
- Perform skilled labor tasks as assigned by supervisor to assist in modular installations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in skilled labor or a related field
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
