Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven salesperson to join our team. This is an in-person role based in our office, with future opportunities for travel to support business development and client engagement.
The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable building relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
Duties
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Collect, organize, and document customer feedback and product requests, and communicate these insights to the product development team
- Follow up on leads, prepare quotes, and close sales
- Handle return requests from clients, including recording details, issuing return shipping labels, and processing refunds in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective dealers through consistent communication and support
- Provide product training and sales support to dealers while identifying opportunities to grow accounts and strengthen long-term partnerships
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and industry trends
- Engage in upselling and negotiation to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development is preferred
- Post-secondary education in any field is required; a combination of education and relevant sales experience will also be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Shopify, Amazon, Odoo ERP, and Google Suite
- Experience with, or a strong aptitude for understanding, technical products and the ability to quickly learn product specifications and applications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into practical solutions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting and closing deals
Additional Information
- This is an in-person position based in our office
- Travel will be required in the future for client visits, prospecting, and relationship development within and outside the province of Saskatchewan (SK)
- Initially, the role will be primarily office-based
