Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in Vacation Rental Cottages, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are valued. Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, washrooms, and common spaces
- Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and tools are well-maintained and properly stored
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with staff and visitors
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures effectively
- Must have Valid Class 5 drivers license.

Pay: From $23.50 per hour
