About this role
MGB Building Group builds and renovates high-end custom homes across the GTA. We're looking for a dependable, hard-working construction worker with real hands-on site experience — someone who shows up on time, takes direction well, works safely, and takes pride in the quality of what they do.
You'll work directly alongside site supervisors and project managers on active residential builds and renovations, contributing to everything from demolition and framing through to finishes and site cleanup. Residential construction experience is preferred, but any serious construction background will be considered if the work ethic and reliability are there.

What you'll do
- Carry out a wide range of on-site tasks: demo, framing, drywall, carpentry, tile work, floor protection, and general labour as needed
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe throughout the day — not just at the end of it
- Pick up and deliver materials between job sites and assist with tool and material organization
- Work alongside other trades and crews, following direction from site supervisors to keep projects moving
- Log daily progress through BuilderTrend (training provided if needed)
- Drive between GTA job sites throughout the day as required
- Show up on time, every day, ready to work — this is the baseline expectation
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience in construction — residential is preferred, but any solid construction background will be considered
- The ability to work a full day on an active construction site — this is a physically demanding role with no desk component
- Reliability: you show up on time, follow through on tasks, and communicate if something changes
- A strong work ethic — you take initiative, work efficiently, and don't wait to be told twice
- Basic communication skills: you can take direction clearly and flag issues when they come up
- Comfortable learning and using a smartphone app (BuilderTrend) for daily logging
- Valid G-class driver's licence and reliable vehicle — required for daily travel between job sites
