Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly and maintaining a clean workspace
- Assist in food plating and presentation for service
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, sanitized, and properly stored after use
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations and food safety standards is a plus
- Experience in meal preparation, food handling, and working with various kitchen equipment is desirable
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen safety and sanitation
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment will be advantageous

Pay: $18.25-$21.85 per hour
