Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to support the smooth daily operations of our organization.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify issues or potential hazards
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to ensure safety and operational continuity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage facilities
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and basic carpentry skills is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $20.00-$27.50 per hour
