Job Overview
As a renovator at Acme General Contractors (Acme), you’ll be trained and supported to perform renovations in all matters of construction that assist us in completing our projects, either with a team or on solo projects. You will play a key role in assessing, executing, and completing jobs on time and within budget, driving results, and finding solutions for issues that arise during a job.
This role is ideal for someone who has a background in renovating and has had exposure to all the trades involved and is ready to take things to the next level with hands-on training, on real project sites. You will be guided by our team, but you will also need to be pro-active, resourceful and willing to find solutions when challenges arise.
We are looking for detail-oriented, analytical, good communication and excitement to build a career in renovations.
Responsibilities
· Execute projects with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Monitor progress and report any issues or opportunities.
· Help troubleshoot common issues with a team.
· Staying in sync with the team through open communication.
· Knowledge in framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, ceramics, paint, concrete, and carpentry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in renovation, carpentry, or related construction fields preferred
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in renovation
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various environments
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous for transporting tools or materials
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision

Schedule
· Monday to Friday on site between 7 and 9am (depending on the project) to 5pm.
· Occasional evening or weekend shifts depending on the project.
· All work is on site and not remote.
